During the Playstation State of Play, Konami announced a new Silent Hill game called The Short Message. Well, the game just shadow dropped, and it looks a lot like P.T.
The State of Play on January 31 was a jam-packed showcase that was filled to the brim with exciting news, like Kojima's newest project, Physint. Another surprising reveal was the new Silent Hill game, The Short Message, which just shadow dropped on PS5.
While many were waiting for the Silent Hill 2 remake, this is exciting news nonetheless, but why does the game look so familiar?
Silent Hill: The Short Message Looks A Lot Like P.T.
The trailer for Silent Hill: The Short Message looks very promising, providing fans with a new protagonist to navigate through a nightmarish landscape of the game.
One thing people pointed out, though, was that the game looked a lot like P.T., a project that Kojima started developing when he was still with Konami.
The fans won't be fooled though, as one comment points out how "they really did just file the serial numbers off of P.T. and give it a new coat of paint".
It might just be the first-person aspect of the game, though, as other users argued that the game was nothing like P.T.
What is your opinion on the matter? Is Silent Hill: The Short Message a P.T. clone? You can leave your answer in the comments.
