Skyrim Player Unearths Morbid Torture Chamber Forgotten By Developers

I was once an adventurer like you, but then I was locked in a forgotten chamber and have been shoveling coal ever since.

Have you ever wondered how video games REALLY work? Actually, some of the NPCs that did not make it to the end game are shoveling coal to keep the engine running. At least that is what you might think when you see what a Reddit user discovered in a weird location in Skyrim.

The Real Chamber Of Secrets

To get to this mysterious place, you must first open the console with the "^" key. Then type "coc aaaDeleteWhenDoneTestJeremy" to teleport into the chamber. This Reddit user tried out the command and found three scantily clad people in a dark cave, pouring coal into a furnace. The torture chamber has even more secrets to offer. If you interrupt the NPC named "TestJeremySmall", he will shrink. If you do the same to "TestJeremyBig", he will grow into a giant.

Ah yes, my favourite place in skyrim: the famous aaaDeleteWhenDoneTestJeremy by u/Xx_StevenHawking in skyrim

In the chamber itself, there is no indication of the purpose of the ovens and NPCs. Presumably, developer Bethesda wanted to test something for the finished game. Even if the name suggests it, it was obviously not deleted afterward. Quite a fate for these poor guys.
