In Spring 2024 there is a whole list of great anime that will be released. One of the new entries stands out though and is sure to be a great watch for those who love action, as well as comedy in their shows.

Oh, and of course, there are giant monsters which get fought as well. Of course, this is going to be one of the best shows of 2024, and it's time you get hype for this upcoming series in 2024 if you're a fan of the genre.

Kaiju No. 8 Blends Drama, Comedy And Action

The premise of Kaiju No. 8 is simple and not unlike many other Shōnen anime. There is a weak protagonist who dreams of being strong in a world of monsters. Sounds like any other series, right? Well, Kaiju No. 8 might start as a cliché, but it's a fun and unique story nonetheless thanks to the characters.

While the series does start off very cliché, the story does grow on you and ramps up with time, especially the relationships between the characters is what makes the story so special.

The action of Kaiju No. 8 is also great and something worth mentioning. Since the whole premise surrounds giant monsters forming and humanity fighting them, you'll be engrossed in the action at all times. Add-in the fact that our main protagonist, Kafka, is somehow able to transform into one – without knowing how this is truly possible – you've also got some awesome mystery built into the story as well.

Kaiju No. 8 is slowly building the hype as the release of the anime is closing in. If you're looking for a story that has well-fleshed out characters, a unique main character in a Shōnen, as well as amazing fight scenes, then this is an anime you should not miss. It will be released on Crunchyroll internationally in April.
