In the upcoming League of Legends patch, Riot will introduce two much-needed VFX updates for a couple of iconic champions — Ashe and Nidalee.
Riot have clearly lost their way with a couple of older League of Legends champions over the years. With League of Legends becoming more and more complicated with more spells and effects in the game than ever before, there is a need to clean up some older visual effects and improve upon them.
Nidalee and Ashe are two such champions who no longer feel great with their lackluster visual effects and confusing kits. So, Riot is cleaning them up for the upcoming patch.
LoL Patch 14.10: New VFX Effects For Ashe And Nidalee
Both champions are getting some love from Riot this time around, with both receiving slight visual effect improvements. While Ashe is only getting one ability looked at, Nidalee will have multiple adjusted in LoL Patch 14.10.
Ashe VFX Updates In Patch 14.10
Ashe will have the clarity of her ultimate adjusted in the upcoming League of Legends patch. Since some players complained about the clarity of the hitbox, Riot have added ground VFX underneath the ultimate arrow show the width of the arrow. Riot also made adjustments to the actual hitbox of the ultimate as well.
This has been something the community has complained about for a while so it's nice to see Riot actually make these changes to help improve the clarity of the game. All her skins have been adjusted with these changes.
Nidalee VFX Updates In Patch 14.10
Nidalee is going to have her Q spear, as well as W cougar form adjusted and her auto attacks have also been cleaned up. Also, Riot has improved some of her older skins like Phraoh and Snow Bunny as well.
- Q - Javelin Toss
- Spear now ramps up VFX
- W - Pounce
- Shows AoE on all skins
Her older Snow Bunny skin has also received some now VFX, and the pharaoh skin got some sand VFX added to it.
These types of updates are necessary so as League of Legends continues to age. Older skins will need to be looked at and improved, as well as older champions. Who else should Riot adjust?
