Deadpool & Wolverine just released another trailer. There are multiple Easter eggs hidden throughout, and some fans believe that there could be a few interesting superhero cameos coming our way.
The new Deadpool & Wolverine — not Deadpool 3 – trailer just released, and there are a multitude of Easter eggs sprinkled throughout. Some of the images have fans hoping for specific Marvel cameos, and one of them is none other than Tom Hiddleston's Loki.
So, what exactly has fans so convinced that there is going to be a connection between the new Deadpool movie and Loki?
Deadpool & Wolverine: Fans Notice Connection To Loki In Trailer
In the trailer, Alioth, the all-consuming force at the end of time, can be clearly seen. This entity was first introduced in the Disney+ series Loki and with its inclusion in the trailer, many fans believe that there is a distinct connection between the upcoming film, as well as show.
In the series, it is explained that Alioth was fed by historical castoffs and temporal anomalies from the multiverse. Through this the beast gained sentience and now exists to keep He Who Remains, a variant of Loki, safe.
With the inclusion of Alioth in the trailer, some fans believe that Loki could make a cameo in the film, something that has been discussed before. Unfortunately, Tom Hiddleston is no Tom Holland and has been able to keep everything under wraps.
The trailer also introduced the Time Variance Authority, whom we know from the Loki series, with Deadpool seemingly getting recruited by them, rather than becoming Alioth fodder. The inclusion of the TVA is another big connection to Loki, but let's be real, if you have the Time Variance Authority in your movie, then you've also got to include Alioth, right?
There were a lot of other hidden Easter eggs in the trailer, which could hint at the inclusion of characters like Paul Rudd's Ant-Man or Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange. Take a look and see how many you can spot!
