Oscar nominations have been revealed and while all everyone is talking about is how Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig were snubbed, there are other movies than just Barbie that were truly incredible this year.

It's looking like an indigenous woman might win the Oscar for best actress for the first time ever, and a small budget Godzilla film has also become the monster's first Oscar nomination. But where can you watch the biggest movies nominated?

When Were The First Academy Awards?

The first Academy Awards, commonly known as the Oscars, were held on May 16, 1929. The movie that won Best Picture was "Wings," a silent film about World War I fighter pilots. This film is also notable for being the only silent film to win Best Picture in the history of the Oscars.
