It seems that people have started to forget about his unfortunate Oscar's moment from two years ago and now the Hollywood superstar is back in his prime, thanks to the fourth Bad Boys movie which just released in theaters and has garnered quite a lot of attention internationally.
While many movies haven't been as popular as most had hoped, it seems that Bad Boys: Ride or Die, has done the impossible and exceeded expectations.

The movie industry has been struggling in recent times. Pixar recently revealed a new, unpopular, shift in movies they're going to make and films like Furiosa and The Fall Guy also didn't reach the box office numbers most had hoped and predicted.
Well, until Will Smith's new Bad Boys movie. The film managed a whopping $56 million domestically in its debut weekend, exceeded the estimated $50 million by a long shot. The movie is now en route to become one of the biggest hits of 2024.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, a majority of movie goers were between the age of 18 and 34, with a large portion also being people of color. This goes to show that Will Smith still has a clear fan base who are going to watch his movies, even after his Oscars mistake a while ago.
