PS5 vs Xbox Series X: Release and Price
Both consoles launch in November, but the Xbox Series X is coming nine days earlier in Europe and a couple of days earlier in the US and Japan.

In terms of price, both next-gen consoles present themselves at eye level. Both the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X cost $499. The slimmed-down Xbox Series S is $299, the disc-less PlayStation 5 Digital Edition costs $399.

Pre-orders for the PlayStation 5 have now started at all major retailers, but the contingent may already be sold out.

If you go purely by the specifications, the Xbox Series X offers a faster CPU and stronger GPU. Also the built-in hard drive is slightly larger and can be expanded thanks to innovative SSD memory cards.

The clocking of the PS5 GPU is higher, the data processing rate of the SSD hard drive faster. In addition, larger SSD hard disks can be installed. We assume that regardless of minor number mismatches, both next-gen consoles will be nearly identical on feel, at least from a technical point of view.
