The PMWL ZERO was a complete success, but what comes after the test season? What will happen to PUBG Mobile? Here we have the esports plan for the rest of 2020 for you!

The first half of 2020 was excellent for PUBG Mobile even after a COVID-19-induced break. After the outstanding community response to the first half of 2020, which will end with the crowning of the PMWL Season Zero Champions, PUBG Mobile has now announced its plan for the rest of the year.

PMCO and PMPL

Teams must pass through the PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) and the PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) to participate in the PUBG Mobile World League. PUBG Mobile announced that both tournaments will start next week. The detailed schedule for each of the PMCO and PMPL regions is as follows

The point system for the PMPL will be changed slightly to give the kills within a round more weight when compared to the ranking. As a result, there are now only 15 points for Chicken Dinner instead of the previous 20 points. In 2020 the old system will still be used.

The Biggest Esports Event is Yet to Come

PUBG Mobile also announced that the biggest event for 2020 is yet to come. No details are known yet, but we suspect something bigger than the PMWL. So it remains exciting what PUBG Mobile is planning for us.

There will be an announcement on August 24. Expect an update regarding the big reveal as we'll keep you informed about the upcoming mega event.
