Rocket League Postparty App: How To Capture & Save Videos
The new Postparty app is simply incredible when it comes to managing and sharing Rocket League clips that you captured on your console. What's even better is that it's actually really easy once you know what you have to do.
Before you can start with the fun stuff, you'll have to download the app from your app store... Using the following links, you'll get straight to the Google Play Store as well as the Apple Store. As soon as the download's complete, you need to log into your Epic games account to connect it to the app.
Now, let's get to the fun part:
- Launch Rocket League on your PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S
- Capture the last 30 seconds of your matches by pressing and holding the capture button/key on your controller
- After capturing your clip, it will appear in your Postparty mobile app library (Processing may take up to five minutes)
- You can trim it to your liking (with a minimum length of three seconds)
- As soon as you're happy with what you've got, you can share the clip with your friends or on all social media platforms!
Aaaaand that's all there is to it! At the moment, only PlayStation and Xbox users can benefit from the app, but Psyonix already stated that the same feature will be available for PC and Nintendo Switch soon.
If nothing exciting or worth sharing happens in the last 30 seconds of your match, don't worry either. During goal replays you will automatically be asked if you want to save it or not. That's probably the best way to share your awesome aerial with double reset and speed flip that you've been practicing in custom maps for a long time!
