If you're into horror or splatter movies, you've probably come across Art the Clown and his bloody adventures. With Terrifier 3, we will get the third entry in Damien Leone's horrifying masterpiece of graphic violence, and this time he's adding something new to the formula: Christmas! That's right folks, Terrifier 3 will be a Christmas movie and there's nothing we can do to stop Art from slaughtering his way through the silent night.

The Terrifier movies have turned into somewhat of a fan favorite for people that love lots and lots and lots of practical effects violence! The first movie introduced us to the uncompromising violence of Art the Clown as he stalks two friends, stranded in the streets after a Halloween party, because of a flat tire.

The second movie picked up right where the first one left off, as Art brutally murders pretty much everybody he comes across. This time, he stalks the siblings Sienna and Jonathan, who appear to have some kind of connection to Art.

Terrifier 3 will continue Art's bloody journey, this time on Christmas Eve, but surely in the same bloody fashion.

Terrifier 3: Release Date & Trailer

Although there is not, yet, an official reveals trailer for the movie, they already revealed the release date through a nice little teaser that perfectly sets the mood for Art's return on October 25, 2024.

You really gotta respect how wholesome the trailer starts, just to devolve into a nightmare real quick, once you see Art's face. He does rock that Santa suit, though!

Anyway, it looks like we'll have to wait for quite a while, as in an interview with Deadline, Leone revealed that filming for Terrifier 3 hasn't even started yet and will kick off at the start of February 2024.

The Terrifier 3 Cast Is Not Confirmed So Far, But There Are A Few Things We Can Say

Although there isn't a full official cast yet, we know for sure that David Howard Thornton will make his return as Art the Clown, he just has to!

It looks like we can also expect the return of Lauren LaVera as Sienna Shaw and Amelie McLain as The Little Pale Girl. This little girl kinda freaked me out more than Art, so that's a good thing, I guess.

Terrifier 3 Plot: How Will The Story Continue?

Story wise, we got some clues from Screambox, which currently holds the rights to the franchise.

In the third installment of Damien Leone’s breakout horror film, Art the Clown is set to unleash chaos on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they peacefully drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve.

The Christmas part was pretty obvious following the teaser, but now we also got a location! That's not all we know about the movie, though. In an interview with Deadline, Damien Leone and producer Phil Falcone revealed that, "there will be a much bigger budget this time around". So we will apparently be privy to even more gruesome and creative gore!

Although, they're trying to keep the plot under wraps, Leone told fans what they can expect from the third movie.

Terrifier 3 will be another boundary pushing addition to the horror genre, continuing the no holds barred, uncompromising exploits fans of the franchise have come to expect and celebrate. If you thought Art the Clown’s reign of terror in part 2 was extreme, you haven’t seen anything yet.

This kinda sounds like a threat in the best way possible! Still, there is little to nothing we could dig up regarding the plot, but as Sienna Shaw apparently makes her return, it looks like her conflict with Art will carry over to this film from its prequel.

Maybe we'll get a little more information on The Little Pale Girl or Art as well? One thing's for sure, it will be bloody, and we'll make sure to update you once we get more information.
