2K Games are looking to give Rocket League a run for its money. Meet the Rocket League competitor Gravity Goal.

Rocket League is a phenomenon. You know that, I know that, everybody knows that. In fact, it' surprising that it's taken this long for someone to try to emulate the game's success. Well.. now, a developer with the knowhow of how to craft successful sports games is taking on the task: 2K games is working on Gravity Goal... which looks like Rocket League with bikes.

Gravity Goal: Rocket League Killer?
Though you use Tron-like bikes rather than cars, the aim of the game remains the same as in Rocket League: In 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3 games, you try to score by getting the ball into the goal with your vehicle. Well... there is one key difference: In Gravity Goal players have access to discs that they can throw at the opposing team's vehicles for damage. The Tron vibes are real with this one.

The hockey puck like discs slow down the opposing car, or destroy it, depending on how fast you and the opponent are. Take-Two hasn't done more than announce the game, but we do know that they are planning to release 26 free-to-play games games by the end of April 2024, and if Gravity Goal is trying to compete with Rocket League, it will likely be one of them.

We don't know which platforms the game will be released on, but it's safe to assume that the game will come to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Switch might not be able to handle it, but it's getting a similar game in Mario Strikers anyway.
