NBA 2K22 will be released on September 10, 2021. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the NBA, 2K Games is releasing the covers in a particularly stylish design. Big Basketball Icons are featured on the Anniversary Edition.
Luka Dončić is featured as a two-time NBA All-Star on the Standard Edition of NBA 2K22. 2K Games has created really nice designs this year. For this, they specially hired the US artist named Charly Palmer. The 61-year-old really beautifully sets the scene for the basketball icons.
The NBA 75th Anniversary Edition features Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dirk Nowitziki and Kevin Durant. All three provided special moments during their time on the court and left their mark on the sport - Kevin Durant, of course, still does this today.

NBA 2K22: Different Versions For PlayStation 4/5 And Xbox One/Series X/S
This year, there will be three editions of NBA 2K22 in digital and physical formats: the Standard Edition, a Cross-Gen Digital Bundle, and a special NBA 75th Anniversary Edition.
The Standard Edition will be available for previous generation platforms (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC) and new generation consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S).

The Cross-Gen Digital Bundle grants players with PlayStation and Xbox access to either the current- or the next-gen-edition.NBA 2K22 NBA 75th Anniversary Edition will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Both the Cross-Gen Digital Bundle and NBA 75th Anniversary Edition offer dual access on PS4/PS5 and Xbox One/Xbox Series X/S, providing a version of the game for each console generation within the same console family at no additional cost.

As already mentioned, the scheduled release date for NBA 2K22 is September 10. If there should be a delay, we will provide you with all the information. We still have to wait for an official trailer. However, it shouldn't take much longer, as trailers for the EA titles FIFA and Madden are already available.
