You heard that right, the first pieces of Valorant merch is now available as Riot Games released a windbreaker and a snapback themed after the tactical shooter.
Valorant has been officially out for over a month now and it was about time Riot released some merch for the new title. The first pieces to become available in the store is the Valorant “Defy the limits” windbreaker and the snapback, both of which can be found in the online store.

The snapback
It’s a hat with “Valorant” printed on it, that’s about it. There’s only one size, which according to the website “fits most”. With a price of $30, it’s okay, just not something amazing.
The windbreaker
The windbreaker is waterproof and has the Valorant logo on the chest with “Defy the limits” printed on the back on multiple languages. The names of all the released agents can be found on the inner hem of the jacket. It comes in various sizes from S to 2XL so it should fit most people. The price for the windbreaker is $120,00 which is quite honestly a bit overpriced. In comparison the merch of any other big team or organization comes at much more reasonable prices for basically the same thing. Then we have the design which while inspired by Valorant doesn’t look all that great at first glance (that’s just my personal opinion though).
For example, Reddit user GusAF suggested a different look for potential Valorant merch which looks much cleaner and more polished.
Furthermore, the windbreaker is currently only available through a pre-order meaning you won’t get your purchase until February 2021. That’s around 8 months from now! Someone could easily give birth for that time. Last but not least, it’s currently scorching summer and not a whole lot of people are dreaming of a windbreaker. For those who do think ahead for the windy months though the jacket might be the perfect opportunity to stay warm and display your support for Valorant. The pre-order option will come to an end on August 17, so you have plenty of time to decide whether you want the jacket. What do you think about the newly released merch? Do you like it? Does it suck? Feel free to voice your opinion on our Facebook page.
