Riot Games has been adding new agents into Valorant constantly, and the time has come yet again. The new agent Harbor was officially announced, so let's see everything we know about him so far!
Harbor is the latest agent joining Valorant. In true fashion, Riot Games gave us leaks and teasers before his release so we can take a guess of what kind of agent Harbor is going to be. Now having an official trailer about Harbor, let's go ahead and see everything we know about the new Valorant agent Harbor!
Valorant New Agent Harbor: Abilities & Identity
Harbor will be joining Valorant as the 5th Controller agent in line. We know he uses water-type abilities, as seen from this leak which turned out to be fake. Albeit the leak tricked us, these abilities still seem to align with Harbor's watery theme. So here are Harbor's abilities in Valorant:
- High Tide: EQUIP a wall of water. FIRE to send the water forward along the ground. HOLD FIRE to guide the water in the direction of your crosshair, passing through the world, spawning a wall along the water’s path. ALT FIRE while bending to stop the water early. Players hit are SLOWED
- Cove: EQUIP a sphere of shielding water. FIRE to throw. ALT FIRE to underhand throw. Upon impacting the ground, spawn a water shield that blocks bullets.
- Cascade: EQUIP a wave of water. FIRE to send the wave rolling forward and through walls. RE-USE to stop the wave from moving further. Players hit are SLOWED.
- Reckoning: EQUIP the full power of your Artifact. FIRE to summon a geyser pool on the ground. Enemy players in the area are targeted by successive geyser strikes. Players caught within a strike are CONCUSSED.
All of these abilities align with the fact that Harbor won't be your usual Controller agent like the others. Not only can he obscure enemy vision and take control of sites, but he can also give support to his teammates like with the water shield.
These abilities are the real deal, as Riot Games gave us a Harbor agent trailer cinematic, as well as released him to be played by some players in testing. Some of the powers that Harbor uses in the cinematic connect with the abilities above. You've also got yourself a cool and awesome harbor meeting Brimstone, so definitely give it a watch!
Now we know how Harbor looks, as well as his water abilities which serve to defeat the enemy team and support the ally team. But the question remains: when can you get your hands on playing Harbor?
Valorant New Agent Harbor: Release Date
The new agent Harbor is set to be released in Episode 5 Act 3, which depending on the time zones falls on October 18th, 2022. Like any other Valorant agent, you should be able to unlock Harbor by completing his agent contract to enjoy his sick agent loading screen!
