The Valorant Champions Tour Stage 2 NA Challengers 2 is underway and the first day had plenty of surprises. Andbox knocked Sentinels to the lower bracket, which in turn eliminated T1 from the event! Here's what else happened.
North America is the most contested region in the Valorant pro scene, with numerous esports organizations all fighting for the top spot. The VCT Stage 2 NA Challengers 2 is further proof of that. There's no certain leader in the NA scene and anything can happen. Valorant Challengers 2 kicked off yesterday and the first day of the event.

The VCT Stage 2 NA Challengers 2
You could say that NA Challengers 2 is quite important as it'll determine the final four teams that'll earn a spot to the Challengers Finals. The latter is set to start on April 29 and the top two teams there will make it to Masters 2 in Reykjavik, Iceland. The list of teams at VCT Stage 2 NA Challengers 2 was known from before:
- Andbox
- Immortals
- Cloud9 Blue
- Built By Gamers
- Sentinels
- NRG
- T1
- TSM
Yesterday was the first day of VCT Stage 2 NA Challengers, and we saw a total of six series. Cloud9 Blue knocked T1 to the lower bracket, Immortals defeated TSM, NRG prevailed over Built By Gamers and Andbox bested Sentinels. That's a lot of twists and turns.

Andbox defeat Sentinels
Perhaps the most interesting series of the day was between Sentinels and Andbox. The winners of NA Masters 1 couldn't win against the underdogs.
Despite that, they've managed to stay in the lower bracket. It certainly wasn't the expected outcome for one of the best teams in the NA Valorant scene.
T1 and Built By Gamers Are Out
Day one also gave us the first two teams to walk out of the event. T1lost to Sentinels in the lower bracket, which spelled the end of their journey. The same thing happened to Built By Gamers as they fell to TSM.

The VCT Stage 2 NA Challengers 2 will continue with four more series today.
- Cloud9 Blue vs. Andbox - 9:00 PM CET
- Immortals vs. NRG - 9:00 PM CET
- Loser of C9/Andbox vs. Sentinels - 11:30 PM CET
- Loser of Immortals/NRG vs. TSM - 11:30 PM CET
