Despite already having five players T1’s Valorant team just became a little bigger with the addition of Timothy "autimatic" Ta.
Valorant’s competitive scene is enjoying a lot of attention lately and that’s most likely due to the Champions Tour. Just the other day Fnatic signed over the roster of SUMN FC and before that, we saw the Swedish Alliance reveal their own team.
Today, T1 are making news with another big reveal. Timothy "autimatic" Ta is the latest player to join the organization’s Valorant team.

Hyping up your new Valorant player with CS:GO highlights. Feelsweirdman. Autimatic commented:
I’m hyped to be playing for T1 Valorant for the next chapter of my career, working again with David and Skadoodle along with the rest of this talented roster we’re going to bring another championship back to North America.
Autimatic played for numerous CS:GO teams in the past 7 years of his career and his last squad was Gen.G Esports. Now, much like many other pro players he’s switching to Valorant in pursuit of glory. In the T1 team, Ta rejoins his former teammate Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham, as well as the team’s coach David Denis.
T1’s Valorant squad currently consists of:
- Braxton "brax" Pierce
- Keven "AZK" Larivière
- Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham
- Sam "DaZeD" Marine
- Ha "Spyder" Jung-woo
- Timothy "autimatic" Ta
- David Denis (head coach)
Since the T1 team was already complete even before autimatic joined it’s not clear what exactly is going to happen. Our best guess is they’ll be borrowing the six-man squad strategy from CS:GO,where many teams have more players than the necessary five. That’s in order to avoid burnout or simply have a substitute that’s actually a part of the team.
T1 are aiming high in the Valorant competitive scene, but the NA region is already quite stacked. Will they dethrone TSM? Share your thoughts on Facebook or Discord!
