The first elimination day is behind us; some of you are probably happy with the results, and some of you, well, not so much. However, no matter which team you were rooting for today, you have to admit that all of these games were exciting to watch.
This was a day with some of the best games in the history of Valorant eSports. The day when we got to know the first three teams that said goodbye to the first Valorant World Championship tournament. We also got a happy ending for the Acend vs Keyd Stars drama, which was reconsidered by Riot due to the engagement of Brazilian fans on Twitter. Let's get right into the details!

Acend Wins Against Keyd Stars In a Breeze Rematch
Yesterday we informed you about Acend collecting a free win for the Cypher camera bug exploit by JhoW of Keyd Stars. However, Riot decided to change the ruling and replay the game on Breeze, with a 7-0 lead on Acend's part (7 being the number of rounds in which Jhow abused the camera bug). And well, it wasn't a hard task for Acend to win this one, although it was still closer than we'd expect it to be, as the game ended with a 13:10 score.
So, the result is the same as it was yesterday — Acend will play Envy for the group stage, while Keyd will have to beat X10 to stay in the tournament. All tied up! https://t.co/io2c23bRnD | #VALORANTChampions pic.twitter.com/1KL3ZEVZyJ

Team Secret vs Crazy Raccoon
Crazy Raccoon got completely dominated by Team Secret. Especially that Haven — this was some brutal stuff. Moreover, we have to say that if Borkum continues to play the way they played today, there is no chance that Team Secret will not make it to the Playoffs.

And this is how the tournament ends for Crazy Raccoon. They are chipping away with a map score of 24-52, which means that they are currently the worst performing of all the teams at Valorant Champions. On the other hand, Team Secret will fight for a Playoff slot against Team Vikings on December 7th, 06:00 PM CEST. Honestly, if we got this matchup yesterday, we'd bet on Vikings all day, but after watching Borkum today.... well, this one is going to be exciting to watch.

FURIA vs KRÜ Esports
This one was super close, and we love matches like this, especially when they're as high stakes as staying in the battle for the world title. When we watch games like that, we really wish that the tournament is played in a BO5 format. But well, it was BO3, and in this particular series, KRÜ Esports turned out to be better.

During the Fracture game, we felt like both teams were improvising with their lineups and strategies, which shows how fresh this map still is. This is actually the first time we've seen Fracture in a major tournament, and it will be interesting to see how the other teams prepared for it. So far, it looks like no team feels too confident on this map, as it keeps getting banned in almost every match.

Cloud9 vs FULL SENSE
We all expected dominance from Cloud9 here, and we kind of got it. Sure, there were moments when the American team didn't seem to know what was going on (especially on Breeze), but for most of this match, we watched them smiling at the monitor and high-fiving each other.

And well, all these timeouts by FULL SENSE showed that they were not feeling very confident about this match.
