Day 4 of Valorant Champions is over, and we have to admit it's getting hotter and hotter. We've got two exciting matches in which the EMEA region showed its dominance and some drama that resulted in... another win for EMEA. Let's get into the details!
We don't know what's going on, but EMEA is absolutely rocking at the Champions tournament. Gambit, Fnatic, and Team Liquid flawlessly make it out of the group, and Acend is winning a lost match due to the bug exploits from the opposing team. Okay, but one step at a time!
Acend & Keyd Stars Drama
Let's start with the drama! During Map 3 of the Acend vs Keyd Stars match, Jonathan "JhoW" Glória from Keyd abused the common Cypher bug on Breeze by placing the camera in a spot that allowed him to see more than he should.
During Map 3 of the series between Acend and VK, Jonathan "JhoW" Gloria, of Vivo Keyd, violated a rule of the VALORANT Global Competition Policy.Read more: https://t.co/WjqnDLETnC

Interestingly, the same bug was abused by Sentinels in the game against FURIA, but Riot hasn't changed the final result of that match. Anyway, Riot punished Keyd Stars with a match loss, and therefore, they're now going to fight to stay in the tournament against X10 Esports. On the other hand, the boys from Acend only need one more win to make it out of the group, and they will fight for it against Team Envy!
Gambit Esports vs. Team Vikings
Even though Team Vikings showed some high-quality gameplay (especially Sacy, this guy is a beast) and we won't be surprised if they go pretty far in this tournament, they still couldn't stop Gambit's hot streak. The first two games were heavily one-sided, but this Icebox game was something else. Both teams played this specific map pretty aggressively regardless of the side; maybe it had to do something with their hunger for victory.
how did @Sheydosk1ng even get away with that??? INSANE! pic.twitter.com/6YFyK1hB38

It was great to watch, but there could only be one winner; once again, Gambit Esports proved to be better, and they are the ones to get that sweet playoffs spot.

Team Liquid vs. Sentinels
This was just... wow. This was (in the opinion of the author of this article, of course) the best match we've got so far! Especially that Breeze game — a pure rollercoaster of emotions.

And that's what we expect from the World Championships! By the way, those are some big words, but we have to say them — it seems that L1NK is on his way to stealing Hiko's "Valorant clutch king" title. For the past two months, Team Liquid has been absolutely rocking on the Valorant scene. By defeating Sentinels in such a beautiful style, they showed that they truly deserve to fight for that world title.
