Team Secret, KRÜ Esports, and X10/Envy — these are the teams that showed top-notch gameplay today and guaranteed themselves a spot in the playoff phase of the Valorant Champions, the first world championship tournament. Let's see how it happened!
The Group Stage phase of the Valorant Champions tournament has come to an end. It was 20 exciting matches that gave a different meaning to the Valorant esports scene. Half of the teams have already said goodbye to the event, including some you wouldn't expect, such as Sentinels and Vision Strikers. But how did it all happen? Check out our recap of the Valorant Champions Day 7 to find that out.

Vision Strikers vs Cloud9 Blue
Okay, it's already almost 01:00 AM, and our emotions still haven't dropped after this match. What a series! Especially that Ascent game, where Vision Strikers went from winning only 1 round in the first half to winning 9 in the second.

This match was actually a big deal; after defeating Sentinels against KRÜ Esports, Cloud9 defended NA's good name here. But honestly, this was no easy task. In fact, Cloud9 only won one more round in the entire match!

Team Secret vs Team Vikings
Here, by contrast, a slightly less even match. As we mentioned in our previous Champions recap, if Borkum doesn't get out of his beast mode, Team Secret will go far in this tournament. And well, Borkum didn't stop, which led to Team Secret's total domination over the Vikings.

It's a pity, Vikings also showed very high-quality gameplay in this tournament, and we were hoping to see some more of them, but well, maybe in the future.

Team Envy vs X10 Esports
Honestly, this match was a considerable surprise to us. Recalling Envy's performance from Masters Berlin, we were confident that this would be an easy win for them... and it wasn't, not at all.

What's going on with NA in this tournament? Anyway, now X10 will have to face Gambit in the Valorant Champions quarterfinals. Will X10 be the dark horse of this tournament? We can't wait to find out.
