Episode 3 Act 3 Battle Pass: New Agent & 5-Stack Ranked Games

A new Battle Pass always means a lot of new content, and Riot has really spoiled Valorant players this time.

We just started the last Act of Episode 3, which is the last Valorant Battle Pass this year. As always, we've got numerous new cosmetics and another reason to grind hundreds of games for the next two months. However, Episode 3 Act 3 comes with two additional big updates — a new Sentinel Agent and an option to play 5-stack ranked games regardless of your rank, which is what we're going to talk about today. Both of these will be live on November 16th, along with Patch 3.10.

5-Stack Ranked Games Are Coming Back!

So, today we got the news that 5-stacked ranked games are coming back to Valorant. Let's step back a few months for a moment and see what Riot had to say about premade games:

We have significant concerns regarding splitting queues. We don’t believe splitting the queue—or doing a flex queue—is the best solution for VALORANT. We fear that one ranked queue would become “The Real Ranked Queue” and the other queue becomes less prestigious.”

What made developers change their attitude towards this problem so much? Well, it seems like it was the community. However, you will receive fewer RR points for premade games, which is also something to keep in mind. So, how big will the difference be? We don't know yet, and we guess that Riot is still testing it out to make this feature optimal.

New Sentinel Agent — Chamber

Another highlight of the new Valorant Act is Chamber, the new Sentinel Agent, which will be out in exactly two weeks (November 16th), along with a 5-stack ranked game feature.

Looking at his abilities, it's safe to say that snipers won't be doomed to Jett alone anymore; perhaps even Chamber will prove to be a much better choice.

  • (C) Trademark: PLACE a trap that scans for enemies. When a visible enemy comes in range, the trap counts down and then destabilizes the terrain around them, creating a lingering field that slows players caught inside of it.
  • (Q) Headhunter: ACTIVATE to equip a heavy pistol. ALT FIRE with the pistol equipped to aim down sights.
  • (E) Rendezvous (Signature Ability): PLACE two teleport anchors. While on the ground and in range of an anchor, REACTIVATE to quickly teleport to the other anchor. Anchors can be picked up to be REDEPLOYED.
  • (U) Tour de Force: ACTIVATE to summon a powerful, custom sniper rifle that will kill an enemy with any direct hit. Killing an enemy creates a lingering field that slows players caught inside of it.

Some of these abilities may not sound the strongest, but their power is in the details. For example, in case of Headhunter, it's worth mentioning that it only takes you 0.3 seconds to take out your gun; It's like you'd have access to a better Sheriff!

We'll indeed create an Agent guide for you soon to help you understand Chamber and win some ranked games with him, so be sure to stay up to date with our Valorant section. Consider creating your MyEarlyGame now to customize your home page and enter various giveaways and tournaments.
