Vitality defeat Acend

The VCT EU Stage 2 Challengers 2 started with a series between Team Vitality and Acend. Not too long ago we saw Acend take first place in the VCT EU Stage 1 Masters, but now they had no chance against Vitality, as the series concluded with a 2:0 in favor of the French team.

Fnatic eliminate G2

G2 Esports were the dominant force in the EU Valorant scene for the better part of 2020. That's no longer the case as we've already seen more than one team beat them in numerous events. Fnatic didn't have much trouble against G2 Esports as the series only took two maps.

What's Next?

Fnatic and Vitality will meet in the semifinals of the tournament tomorrow, April 17. In the meantime we'll see two more series in the quarterfinals:

  • Team BDS vs. Ninjas in Pyjamas - 05:00 PM CET
  • Team Liquid vs. CA Calling - 08:00 PM CET

You can catch all the games live on the official Valorant Twitch channel. The top two teams in this event will qualify for the Stage 2 EU Challengers Finals set for April 25. With G2 out of the picture who do you think will take the champion's title? Tell us on Facebook or Twitter!
