NBK Retires From CS:GO, Joins Valorant
If you're following the CS:GO pro scene you're probably familiar with Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt. If not, let us shed some light. NBK is a French CS:GO pro player (or rather was) who last played for Double Poney and OG. Schmitt has also played for other famous CS:GO teams like G2 Esports, Team Vitality, and others. Today, NBK announced that he's officially done with CS:GO and he'll be setting his sight on Valorant.

I have done it all, from local LANs to winning Majors, grinded through the ranks, and sat on top of the world. I have lived the biggest disappointments and the best tournament wins. Counter-Strike gave me everything and I dedicated my life to it. But memories are made to stay in the past. It’s time for a change.
The overall reception from fans regarding NBK's decision has been positive. What made him switch though? NBK was left without a CS:GO team for a few months and his decision isn't that surprising.

Which Team Will NBK Join?
There's still no official information but we doubt that NBK will be making an announcement of this caliber without a plan. We've already seen numerous other big names from the CS:GO scene transition successfully into Valorant. A couple of examples would be Martin "Hiko" Spencer, Tyson "TenZ" Ngo, Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom, and many others.

NBK spent a lot of time with the CS:GO roster but we doubt that he'll be returning to the organization. OG currently have a full roster and they're already competing in the Stage 3 Challengers 1 open qualifiers. Then again, a lot of teams are signing more than five players so it's within the realm of possibility.
