It's official, Riot is adding a new Sentinel Agent in Patch 3.10! Come in and check out the details.
We've been getting numerous teasers regarding Deadeye recently, and today we received an official statement that the new Sentinel Agent will be coming out in Patch 3.10, which is 2 weeks after the new Act release date. Let's check out everything we know about him and speculate what we can expect from a new Valorant Agent!

What Country Will The New Valorant Agent Be From?
In one of the recent Valorant Developer Insight blog posts written by one of the game's producers, John Goscicki, we were assured that our experience with the new Agent would be "magnifique". By the way, this may confirm leaks from a few months ago that suggested the new Agent will be French!
It’s been a bit since our Robo Boyo KAY/O has been out neutralizing Radiants. While he's been out there adding to our pool of flashes, we've been refining our upcoming Agent. We took a step back and thought about different ways to provide another Sentinel to the roster. A Sentinel that focuses on mechanical outplays, with an additional focus of gunplay into the mix for an extra flourish. We won’t reveal much more, just know that once you achieve that dream moment, it will be magnifique!
This quote is summed up by the following image, which matches well with this Deadeye image that's been flying around the internet for the last few months. You can see it, right?
Unfortunately, we cannot see what might be written on this card. This image is so small for a reason; apparently Riot doesn't want to reveal too much just yet.
Possible Deadeye Agent Abilities
Until recently, we had no idea what Deadeye might specialize in, but now we have a clue. Let's quote it again:

Can we expect an ability that lets you throw traps that mimic weapons? That would be awesome! Moreover, it seems that Deadeye is very "elegant" and likes shiny stuff, so maybe his traps will additionally imitate some costly skin? That would make sense; we all pick weapons up sometimes just to see what the skin looks like, right?

Deadeye Release Date
Deadeye will come out in Patch 3.10, which is somewhere around October 15-19. The release has been delayed due to work on the "clarity" of his abilities. Whatever that means, we'd rather wait those extra 2 weeks than play something unbalanced, right?

Still, Episode 3 Act 3 will come out on November 2nd, and we'd also expect lots of new content related to Deadeye in it.
