The South Korean NUTURN Gaming pulled a surprise reverse sweep yesterday and earned a spot in the winner's finals of the Valorant Stage 2 Masters Reykjavik.

The Valorant Stage 2 Masters Reykjavik is slowly nearing its end and while four teams have already been eliminated, others are making their way to the top. NUTURN Gaming defeated Version1 and secured a spot in the winner's finals.

South Korea isn't big on Valorant as there's only a single team to represent it. Despite thatNUTURN Gaming proved they're just as competitive as the top teams in North America and Europe. NUTURN Gaming have played a total of two series so far. Their first victory was over the Brazilian Sharks Esports in round one of the upper bracket. With their victory over Version1 one yesterday the team will face the final boss in the winner finals that is Sentinels.

NUTURN Gaming's victory earned Kim "Lakia" Jong-min the MVP award for Day 4 of the tournament. The young player has one of the highest KDA ratios in competitive Valorant, and he's definitely living up to expectations so far. No matter the outcome of the next series versus Sentinels, Lakia is definitely one of the players to look out for that we've already mentioned. Another player that was instrumental in the victory over Version1 was Seo "Suggest" Jae-young.
