There's another big Valorant event coming in before the end of January. Red Bull Home Ground is the Valorant event you're looking for, featuring some of the best teams from Europe.
Valorant’s competitive scene is all set up and some of the qualifiers will kick off in a matter of days. Still, it’ll be some time before we see the first major events from the circuit. In the meantime, you can expect third party events like the Red Bull Home Ground Valorant Invitational.
Red Bull Home Ground
Red Bull Home Ground is the latest Valorant event coming later this week. The tournament is scheduled to officially start on January 28 and conclude on January 31. It’ll feature a total prize pool of £24,000 ($32,769) and have eight teams participating. Here’s the list so far:
- G2 Esports
- Team Liquid
- Ninjas in Pyjamas
- Guild Esports
- Futbolist
- SUMN FC
- FrenzyGoKill
- TBD
These are some of the best Valorant teams in Europe and the final “special guest” is yet to be revealed. FrenzyGoKill is the only team that earned a spot through an open wildcard qualifier.

Format
That’s where things get interesting. Aside from the usual single-elimination Bo5 bracket, there’s one big twist:
- Each team picks their strongest map as their home ground
- The home grounds are played first
- If a team wins both home grounds they instantly win the Bo5 and conclude the series
- In any other case the Bo5 continues as usual
That’s something we haven’t seen before and really sets the event apart. You can catch the live broadcast on the official Red Bull Twitch channel.
