Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, one of the most famous players in CS:GO called Riot's Valorant "simple" in a recent tweet announcing he'll stream it. Will we ever see him go pro in Valorant?
CS:GO's dominance in the tactical shooter got challenged in the past year after the release of Riot Games' Valorant. The latter was designed to be an esports title and many players from Valve's FPS already switched sides to make a career in Valorant. Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev is not one of them. The Ukrainian player has made a name for himself in the CS:GO scene and placed second in the HLTV ranking for 2020.

Valorant is too simple for s1mple
In a recent tweet the CS:GO pro called Valorant "too simple".

With a later post, he announced that he'll be streaming some Valorant.

Kostyliev hasn't been very active in Valorant but he has played the title previously. Just like many of his fans expected he's just as good as he is in CS:GO.

Will s1mple switch to Valorant?
A big question that has been around for quite some time is whether s1mple will also be making the switch to Valorant. Judging by the "simple" tweet he doesn't seem to have such plans. The Ukrainian is currently playing for Natus Vincere and their recent track record easily puts them in the top 5 teams in the scene. Then again we've already seen the likes of Nicholas "nitr0" Cannella who was part of Team Liquid but then chose Valorant in late 2020.
