Does your Main Agent have the same music taste as you do? Check this article to find out!
There is one thing that every Valorant Agent has, but not every player knows it exists – the official Spotify playlist. Even if you don't care about their real names and lore, you would definitely want to know if your main Agent is listening to the same music as you (Well, I'm a little disappointed with mine). But without further ado – here are all the official Spotify playlists for every Valorant Agent released!
Brimstone Spotify Playlist
Brimstone is probably the oldest character in the Valorant universe, and he's from the USA, so you know what you're in for; yup, lots of guitars. However, the guitars aren't so heavily invasive – we've got bands like Audioslave, Fleetwood Mac, and Bon Iver here. Many of you will go "Ok boomer" for this playlist, but I love it.
I'm actually quite grateful to this playlist for reminding me of Rage Against The Machine. Wow, that was a band, and "Sleep Now In The Fire" is a track that will never get old. Nostalgia kicked in, thanks Brim.
Viper Spotify Playlist
Here we have 2000s emo punk vibes; you know, Paramore, My Chemical Romance, that kind of stuff. Plus, most of these songs have pretty "toxic" lyrics, which makes sense for Viper.
Even though you can really feel these emo vibes, we think that this playlist is kind of a lost potential. For example, don't you miss Fall Out Boy here? Or Blink-182, especially that there is a high chance that Travis Barker is playing Valorant?
Omen Spotify Playlist
Omen's playlist is just OST from movies; no words, just music. And as you would probably expect, these are some dark/ambient sounds here.
Definitely not a kind of music to vibe to, but it can be suitable for activities like learning or writing where you would rather avoid getting distracted by any lyrics.
Killjoy Spotify Playlist
Speaking of music without lyrics – maybe you prefer electronic sounds more than movie OST? If that's the case, be sure to check out Killjoy's playlist:
It's great for the days when you need to do a learning/working session, but you feel like you are about to fall asleep. You can definitely move your head a bit to this music, but it doesn't go too hard to distract you. Fun fact – you can hear lots of old synthesizers in these tracks, which fits just perfectly with Killjoy's character.
Cypher Spotify Playlist
Cypher's playlist includes a variety of styles. However, it's mostly the music you'll hear in the elevator, also known as "lo-fi beats to study, sleep and chill to."
It's just a great playlist to chill, really. Tracks like "Swingtheory" by quickly, quickly and "Mental Acupuncture" by Jazzinuf are now also proud members of my lo-fi playlist.
Sova Spotify Playlist
Back to the electronic vibes; Sova's playlist is very similar to Killjoy's:
However, some of these tracks go a bit harder, like "Animal Rights" by deadmau5 & Wolfgang Gartner or "Mumbai Power" like Skrillex & BEAM for example. But honestly, the fact that the only Russian Agent got no hardbass playlist is a shame, and I would personally cancel it (even though I think that this playlist is pretty good).
Sage Spotify Playlist
Sage's playlist is made of summer tracks like "Shelter" by Porter Robinson & Madeon and Chinese pop tracks.
This music is probably the most radio-like playlist out of all Valorant Agents. And the fact that two Lexie Liu songs are on this playlist pretty much sums up what this is all about – a bit of Western Pop, and a bit of Chinese one, simple as that.
Phoenix Spotify Playlist
Well, Phoenix may not be that good in the meta, but his playlist is for sure; this one is my personal favorite. And as you would expect, it's all about modern rap music:
So, I really love the fact that it contains Kid Cudi and Kendrick Lamar, two of my favorite rappers. But it also has other great rap artists like Drake, Travis Scott, Skepta, and of course, Big Shaq. Just missing a classic "Crank That" by Soulja Boy, especially that Phoenix looks exactly like him, but I understand that Riot wanted to keep things family friendly.
Jett Spotify Playlist
Most of you will be disappointed here – no, Jett's playlist is not about KPOP. Just like Phoenix's playlist, it's a modern rap playlist; however, with a more female accent.
It contains artists like Nicki Minaj, Charli XCX, Normani - you know what's up. Huh, no wonder why Jett and Phoenix really like each other in lore. It's a good playlist though; I personally discovered some bangers on this playlist, like "Crazy Dog" by YEZI and San E and "Comic Sans" by AUDREY NUNA and Jack Harlow.
Reyna Spotify Playlist
And another playlist full of modern female vocalists! But this one is even more direct with its message by containing songs like "God is a Woman" by Ariana Grande:
Besides Ariana Grande, we have Rihanna, Halsey, ROSALIA and Grimes; it's a really nice playlist to listen to. Moreover, as it's Reyna's playlist, you would probably expect some Latin American accent as well – and you have it, with summer tracks like "Yo Perro Solla" by Bad Bunny or "TKN" by ROSALIA and Travis Scott.
Raze Spotify Playlist
So, Raze has two official Spotify playlists in two different vibes. The first one contains chill rap songs with lots of 808 kicks. It also contains some artists from Raze's origin country – Brazil.
And the second playlist is called "Raze: Only Good Songs" and is just full of Brazilian artists, including an official Valorant remix of "Banho de Folhas" by Luedji Luna:
Breach Spotify Playlist
Breach's playlist is basically metal + electronic music. To sum it up – this playlist contains some heavy sounds. Like, there are even bands like Amon Amarth and Trivium there, and that's not something we would expect on any of these Agent playlists!
But as we already mentioned, there is some electronic music as well, like "Clockwork" by Hyper that you may know from Cyberpunk 2077 OST. Now that I think about it, I'll probably hit the gym after finishing this article – it just goes hard.
Skye Spotify Playlist
Skye's playlist is just perfect to chill after a tough day. It's full of slow songs by artists like Troye Sivan, Clairo or Tame Impala.
Listening to this playlist just makes you want to lay down in your bed and chill there for the rest of the day. Would love this one to be a bit longer.
Yoru Spotify Playlist
It's hard to say what Yoru's playlist is really about. It's mostly rap music with lots of Japanese accent, I guess that's how I would sum it up.
However, you can also find some heavy electronic tracks like "RAMPAGE" by "GRAVEDGR", so it's really hard to put a label to this playlist.
Astra Spotify Playlist
Astra's playlist has similar vibes to Skye's one; it's also great to chill, only here instead of pop and alternative rock, we get rap. Still, Riot has prepared some high-quality rap music for this playlist.
No drill, no hard 808s, just slow old school beats with the voices of some good rap artists. This playlist really makes you want to jump into a hot bathtub and say out loud the title of the second track from Kendrick Lamar's "good kid, m.A.A.d city" album.
KAY/O Spotify Playlist
Since KAY/O is a robot, you know what this playlist will be about. That's correct, Electronic Dance Music.
Actually, it's a great playlist for gaming. It's hyping you up, but it won't distract you as much as there are no lyrics. It has some cyberpunky vibes with songs provided by artists like F.O.O.L or Le Castle Vania.
Chamber Spotify Playlist
Moving on, my second personal favorite. It's also an electronic music playlist, only here we have artists like Daft Punk, Gesaffelstein, and Boys Noize.
By the way, if you were looking for a song from Chamber's official cinematic, you can find it here! It's called "Orch Compression" by Chroma Music and Odd Banker. It's also one of the longest Agent playlists, as it contains as much as 19 tracks.
Neon Spotify Playlist
Neon's playlist has a very similar one to Jett's. However, in case of Neon, lyrics are more about money, swag, and all that kind of stuff.
I honestly thought that it will be a pop playlist, especially since it starts with "Entertain Me" by Ylona Garcia, which you could hear in Neon's cinematic. But then there's a song called "Baddest MF", and it completely changes the vibe.
Fade Spotify Playlist
Fade's playlist is all in for Alternative/Indie music:
It contains popular artists like Tricky or Holy Wars, as well as local Turkish artists to honor Fade's origin country. It's a pretty niche playlist, but the track selection is just perfect; this playlist flows so smoothly.
