T1’s NA Valorant division is making some serious roster changes. Keven "AZK" Larivière and Braxton "brax" Pierce are now longer part of the team.

Valorant’s competitive scene is going through a big reshuffle and that’s no surprise. With the Champions Tour already underway, many teams are trying to get in their best shape. Just last week, T1 announced Timothy "autimatic" Ta as the latest member of their Valorant squad.

We weren’t really sure why an already complete roster of five players needed the sixth one, but now it’s all clear. Sadly it’s not the six-man CS:GO strategy we thought it would be. T1 released Keven "AZK" Larivière and Braxton "brax" Pierce.

This sudden roster change raises even more questions, but it was somewhat expected as neither of the two players was mentioned when Timothy "autimatic" Ta joined T1. In fact, autimatic said he was glad to play with Skadoodle and David again:

...working again with David and Skadoodle along with the rest of this talented roster we’re going to bring another championship back to North America

Brax and AZK were the first two Valorant players for T1 and now that they’re gone the org is actually missing a fifth. The current roster is as follows:

  • Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham
  • Sam "DaZeD" Marine
  • Ha "Spyder" Jung-woo
  • Timothy "autimatic" Ta
  • David Denis (Head coach)

It’s no secret that T1 failed to make it to the top in the North America Stage 1 Challengers 1,but that definitely wasn’t the end of the line. Chances are we’ll see another announcement by T1 real soon, but it’s unclear who’ll be the fifth player. Who do you think will complete the roster? Share your thoughts on Facebook or Twitter!
