Just two months ago we saw Tyson "TenZ" Ngo take a break from competitive Valorant as he left the roster of Cloud9. Now he's back at it to replace Jay "sinatraa" Won in the Sentinels lineup for the upcoming Masters Stage 1.
Following the sexual allegations against him, Jay "sinatraa" Won was suspended from his team Sentinels and Riot Games. Sentinels also launched an internal investigation and that clears out there's still a tournament coming up, namely the Masters Stage 1.
TenZ Joins Sentinels
Sinatraa's suspension came at the worst possible moment as his team was supposed to play in the Valorant Champion Tour in just a few days. Thankfully, Sentinels were quick to act and found a stand-in in the face of Tyson "TenZ" Ngo. The latter took a break from competitive Valorant but as we clearly see that didn't last. He last played for Cloud9.
Sentinels' official Twitter revealed that TenZ will be joining their ranks for the Masters Stage 1 but it's unclear if he'll remain with the team after that. Maybe it all depends on the outcome of the sinatraa allegations.
We're happy to announce that @TenZOfficial will be joining Sentinels to compete in Masters Stage 1.

TenZ was the first player to reach the rank of Radiant shortly after the game was released and that significantly boosted his popularity eventually earning him a spot on the C9 roster. Sadly, they didn't find much success but maybe things will be different with Sentinels. The team is one of the best in the NA region with numerous victories and good overall placement.

Riot made an exception considering the circumstances as the transfer period was already over. Do you think Sentinels will find success with TenZ? Drop us a line on Facebook or Twitter!
