With the release of the Icebox map, Riot Games left some clues about the next agent coming into the game. Based on those, a fan made his own concept with Mamuro.
Valorant’s patch 1.13 is still over a week away as we’re expecting it to drop on December 8. In the meantime, fans are already excited about the next agent coming to Riot’s tactical shooter. In fact, some fans were so excited that they made their own agent concept based on the scraps of information Riot left on Icebox.
Well, according to Reddit and more specifically user VisiblePerson it probably will be a samurai. VisiblePerson went as far as to make his own concept of the potential new character that might be joining the roster.
Here are all his abilities listed:
Basic Ability: Heaven Roar
EQUIP a paper version of the map you are playing on. Select the place where you want to send lightning and press RMB. After 1.5 seconds lightning strikes the place, deals 40 damage, and blinds enemies. Works up to 80 meters away. Blind lasts 1.5 seconds.
Basic Ability: Overload
EQUIP a discharge of electricity and upgrade different types of weapons.
- LMB – Upgrade Ally.
- RMB – Upgrade Yourself
Pistols mark the enemy. SMG & AR increase damage by 10%. Rifles speed up reloading.
Signature Ability: Thunder Cutter
EQUIP a blade of thunder and defeat enemies or destroy a projectile flying at you.
- LMB – dash with the blade towards the crosshair and deal 75 damage. It makes a lot of noise and has 1.5 seconds of cast time. Also deals damage through walls.
- RMB – destroy an enemy projectile with one swing of the blade or protect yourself from the first shot of the enemy.
Ultimate Ability: Rising Thunder
EQUIP a blade of thunder and sacrifice 50% of your health to transform into an electric demon armed with a blade that deals 50 damage. Any damage will inflict periodic damage to the enemy for 3 seconds. Ult lasts 35 seconds.
It wouldn’t be a proper multiplayer title if there’s no swordsman/samurai right? This isn’t the first fan concept for a Valorant agent we’ve seen but it’s the second one that gains a lot of attention. Perhaps there is some truth to it? Previously we saw the Chenoa agent concept which seems to have made it into the game to some extent with Skye.
