Valorant Patch 3.01 is live or mere hours away from hitting the servers. A new patch means new skins have been data-mined and leaked! The Ruination Skin bundle has been revealed and it is another glowing edgy collection of weapons but what is more shocking is this skin bundle appears to be an LoL cross-over!
Let’s take a look at the weapons in Ruination Bundle!
What Weapon Skins are in the Ruination Bundle?
There are 5 weapon skins in the Ruination Bundle:
- Ruination Ghost
- Ruination Phantom
- Ruination Guardian
- Ruination Spectre
- Ruination Melee
The clear theme of this bundle is silenced weapons because 3 out of 5 of the skins have silencers attached to them. One could even argue that the melee weapon skin is also a silent killer.

Now, if I told you that the melee weapon was a literal greatsword that looks like something out of World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy you would probably not be too surprised, right? Given that Riot Games has already gone full edgelord with the Tethered Realms collection, a glowing green greatsword that looks like a piece of loot off a final boss of a dungeon is not that far-fetched of an idea. The knife skin is modeled after one of the items in League of Legends – Blade of the Ruined King. Riot is also currently developing an RPG of the same name.
So, here we are Valroant players, shatter any delusions of realism in Valorant because it has gone full D&D. Okay, okay, maybe I'm being a tad harsh here because the skin does look pretty cool, albeit over the top for an FPS tactical shooter. Like, I half expected Viego the Ruined King to show up in my next match of Valorant.
The Ruination Skin Bundle was Inspired by LoL
If you have gotten the hint yet, this set is clearly taking inspiration from Riots other extremely famous and popular IP, League of Legends. This is the first cross-over between Riots LoL and Valorant. The art style of Viegos sword is similar enough to the melee skin in the Ruination Bundle. Hey, so I don’t mean to beat a dead horse here, but Viego, the Ruined King, may have some connection to the Ruination Bundle. Maybe it's the otherworldly green color pallets or the fact they are both greatswords, or that the melee is literally named Broken Blade of the Ruined King. I don‘t know, I’ll let you decide this one. But back to the bundle...
The Ruination Bundle has Insane Animations
Shoutout to Mike @Valorleaks for the skin demos, and let me tell you: make sure to watch till the end for an insane surprise!

I am not sure what happened to Sage there in that clip, but it looked like she was sent to Summoner's Rift and is now queued up for a little 5 on 5 MOBA action. With animations this strong, we have to place The Ruination Bundle in the premium tier of pricing so get ready to swipe.
