Over a week has passed since the conclusion of the Valorant Stage 2 Masters Reykjavik, and some teams are making big changes in their roster. Here are the most important highlights!

The Valorant competitive scene is finally taking a bit of rest after the conclusion of the Stage 2 Masters Reykjavik. While Valorant esports is asleep, many organizations are already working hard to improve their rosters with various changes. Here's what happened so far in June.

Sentinels acquire TenZ

This month started with a bang as Tyson "TenZ" Ngo finally became an official part of the Sentinels Valorant roster. Previously, Ngo was just loaned from Cloud9, but now his transition into a true Sentinel is complete. Together with TenZ, Sentinels took first place in Masters 2 Reykjavik after a perfect run and secured a guaranteed spot at Valorant Champions at the end of the year.

Sentinels proved they're the best team in the world just a week ago. North America remains the strongest region in Valorant, and we don't see that changing anytime soon, unless Europe or Korea have something to say?

G2 Esports, Heretics and Acend Exchange Players

Things are getting heated in Europe as G2, Heretics, and Acend have swapped some players. G2 Esports acquired Jose Luis "koldamenta" Aranguren Herrero from Acend, and in turn, they gave them Aleksander "zeek" Zygmunt.

Next up G2 Esports released Ardis "ardiis" Svarenieks and Patryk "paTiTek" Fabrowski. Two days later the duo went on to join Team Heretics.

In order for ardiis and paTiTek to join, Heretics had to release Žygimantas "nukkye" Chmieliauskas and Auni "AvovA" Chahade. And you guessed it, they then joined G2 Esports.

A day earlier, Heretics took Ondřej "MONSTEERR" Petrů under their wing. Despite that, the team's roster is still missing a fifth player, so expect an update soon.

If you're confused by all this, don't worry, you're not alone. Expect further updates, as more roster changes will surely follow later this month.

TSM’s Female Valorant Squad Gets zecK As Coach

Earlier this week, Addison "zecK" Gorzeck's trial as a coach for TSM's female Valorant team came to an end. A good end. As of June 8, zecK was promoted to a permanent position as a head coach for the female TSM roster.

The team's next challenge will be coming later this month at the Valorant Game Changers North America Series 2. With a total of $50,000 in prize money on the line, the competition will be high.

Heretics Complete Their Roster

Heretics, G2 Esports, and Acend swapped some players and the final result was Heretics missing a fifth. That's no longer the case, as yesterday the organization signed Felix "al0rante" Brandl as their final player.

With that, the Heretics Valorant team is once again complete. Will they manage to climb to the top of competitive Valorant in Europe?

Glow Goes Back to Coaching Vision Strikers

Last month, Kim "glow" Min-soo announced that he's officially retiring. Less than a month later, glow returns to Vision Strikers and his coaching position on the team. The South Korean team has two more coaches with Soon-woo "Argency" Kwon and Seon-ho "termi" Pyeon.

Vision Strikers are one of the best Valorant teams in South Korea. They've taken first place at every event they attended except for Korea Stage 2 Challengers. Sadly, that meant no trip to Reykjavik, but we're sure that VS still have a lot to show us.

MW1 Joins Velocity Gaming

Mohit "MW1" Wakle is now officially part of Velocity Gaming. MW1 is one of the most famous players in the region and his decision to join the roster of Velocity Gaming was no surprise.

VC are among the top teams in India and the organization has been dominating every tournament they attend. It's only a matter of time before we see them on the big stage. With MW1 joining the squad, Velocity's roster grows to a total of 6 players:

  • Agneya "Marzil" Koushik
  • Mohit "MW1" Wakle
  • Anuj "Amaterasu" Sharma
  • Tejas "rite2ace" Sawant
  • Vibhor "Vibhor" Vaid
  • Sagnik "Hellff" Roy

There's a high chance we'll see Marzil get benched, so MW1 can make his first appearance with Velocity.

Gen.G release huynh

Another team that had six players up until yesterday is Gen.G. Gen.G had a rough run in the first part of the season, and they couldn't secure a spot at the second Masters tournament. The Gen.G Valorant squad is now down to five after the release of Danny "huynh" Huynh.

It's unclear whether huynh plans to join another team straight away or focus on creating Valorant content on Twitch. In any case, stay tuned for an update.

OG Complete Their Valorant Squad

OG entered the Valorant competitive scene back in February, and we have yet to see them at the top in Europe. Last month they released three players, and their Valorant team remained incomplete, until now. Harry "DPS" MacGill who was just a stand-in is joining as a full-time member of the team along with Nikita "trexx" Cherednichenko and Tomas "Destrian" Linikas.

OG also signed Tanishq "Tanizhq" Sabharwal as a coach.

Alliance Part Ways With MitchMan

It's definitely not the update we expected from Alliance, considering the team is still missing a fifth player. Yesterday, the Swedish organization announced they're parting ways with their analyst, Mitch "MitchMan" McBride.

MitchMan joined Alliance at the end of January and stayed with the team for almost half a year. At this point, the only hope for Alliance is to qualify for Stage 3 Masters.

Rob-Wiz Leaves Built By Gamers

Rob "rob-wiz" Kennedy left BBG and is currently looking for a new team.

Much like Alliance, Built By Gamers are struggling to find their place in North America. Who can blame them – they're trying to make it in the most competitive Valorant region!

BBL Esports With a 7-Man Strat

You've heard of the six-man roster, but did you expect the one with seven? As of today, the Turkish BBL Esports have seven players on their Valorant squad. The latest addition is Ekrem "l0gicman" Aydın. Will one of the other players be leaving soon?

Dignitas Female Sign Xp3 As Coach

The female Valorant squad of Dignitas signed David "Xp3" Garrido as a coach. Xp3 used to be the coach of the CS:GO Dignitas and now he's taking the same role in Valorant.

Dignitas Female will soon have a big challenge at the VCT Game Changers North America Series 2.

Natus Vincere Sign Cloud As Their First Valorant Player

It seems that the CIS esports powerhouse Natus Vincere is making its first steps into the world of competitive Valorant. The organization signed Kirill "Cloud" Nehozhin as their first Valorant player on June 18. In addition, Vladislav "TheVs" Moroz was added as manager.

Before joining Na'Vi, Cloud played for the Valorant roster of honk.

Pr0phie Rejoins Complexity Gaming

Back in May, Magno "Pr0phie" Ramos joined Complexity Gaming on trial only to leave the squad a week later. Roughly a month after that, Pr0phie is back to fill the ranks of Complexity after Jonah "JonahP" Pulice left the team earlier this month.

With Pr0phie joining in, Complexity's Valorant team is once again complete.

ANS Retires From Valorant

Lee "ANS" Seon-chang left the Valorant roster of T1 Academy for the most surprising of reasons. ANS officially retired from Valorant in order to restart his career in Overwatch with his former team – the San Francisco Shock.

ANS started playing Valorant in mid-March with the T1 roster. Shortly after, ANS was transferred to the T1 Academy squad. Whether it's the lack of results or the temptation of Overwatch, ANS won't be playing competitive Valorant any longer.

G2 Esports Swap pyth for keloqz

G2 Esports are preparing for the start of the VCT Stage 3 with even more roster changes. The organization benched Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi and signed Cista "keloqz" Wassim.

In a follow-up tweet, G2 Esports stated that "pyth will officially be moved to the bench and will be allowed to explore new opportunities". Over the past month, G2 Esports changed 4 of their players with the sole exception being Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas Colocho. Will they dominate Valorant's European scene in Stage 3 of the VCT?

T1 Release DaZeD, bench Spyder, Sign brax and dawn

The month is not over yet and T1 are making some serious changes to their Valorant roster. T1 released Sam "DaZeD" Marine who played with the squad since October 2020. Ha "Spyder" Jung-wo was benched, but remains with the team for now. At the same time, Anthony "dawn" Hagopian was promoted from the academy team to the main roster and Braxton "brax" Pierce got acquired from TSM.

T1 have been lacking results in the Valorant scene and perhaps this new roster will finally deliver!

NRG Complete Their Roster

Earlier this month, Damian "daps" Steele retired from competitive Valorant and that dropped NRG's Valorant team to four players. Yesterday, NRG acquired Matthew "Wedid" Suchan from XSET and they're once again ready for action.

Big Changes in Crazy Raccoon

Crazy Raccoon was the top Japanese Valorant team that earned a spot at the VCT Stage 2 Masters Reykjavik. Unfortunately, they finished in last place. Now, two of their players have switched to streaming – Hiroto "rion" Tateno and Jyousuke "zepher" Matsuda. In the meantime, Crazy Raccoon acquired four more players.

  • Park "Bazzi" Jun-ki
  • Teppei "ade" Kuno
  • Hideki "Fisker" Sasaki
  • Daiki "Minty" Kato

Will we see their new squad at the Stage 3 Masters?

TSM Female Bench Zoe

The female division of TSM is now down to four players after TSM Female benched Zoe "Zoessie" Servais.

The reasons for the bench are unclear, but it seems like Zoe is already looking for new possibilities and a new team. TSM Female placed 5th-6th in the recent Game Changers North America Series 2, so a roster change was somewhat expected.

Evil Geniuses Swap Three Players

TSM wasn't the only NA team to make roster changes in their Valorant squad. Evil Geniuses changed the majority of their roster by releasing three players yesterday – Aleksandar "aleksandar" Hinojosa, Ronan "Osias" Jeremiah Javelona, Claudia "Clawdia" Che. On the very same day, Evil Geniuses announced three new players that'll fill their ranks:

  • Daniel “roca” Gustaferri
  • Brandon “Branted” Ballard
  • Mike “Pho” Panza

Evil Geniuses are one of the biggest esports organizations in North America but their performance in Valorant so far is mediocre at best. Will the recent roster changes take them to new heights?

TSM Complete Their Roster With bang

Last week Braxton "brax" Pierce switched sides and transferred from TSM to T1. This left the TSM Valorant roster incomplete. That's no longer the case, as the NA org signed Sean "bang" Bezerra yesterday.

With a full roster, TSM are now ready for the Stage 3 Challengers qualifiers.
