The Valorant Champions Tour is in full swing and the Stage 2 Masters in Reykjavik, Iceland draws near. It comes as no surprise that many teams that failed to make the cut are doing some serious shuffles. Here are the biggest roster changes in the Valorant esports scene for this month.
We're not even halfway through May and numerous teams already made some notable roster changes in their Valorant squads. Here are some of the most important player transfers so far.
OG Down to Two
OG entered the Valorant scene back in February and so far, they didn't manage to get any decent results. The organization is now having some major changes in its Valorant team by laying off three players.

OG's Valorant squad currently consists of:
- Kevin "TviQ" Lindström
- Benjamin "uNKOE" Chevasson
- Harry "DPS" MacGill (stand-in)
Vision Strikers Sign BuZz and MaKo
The Korean Valorant team Vision Strikers are preparing for Stage 3 of the Valorant Champions Tour and completing their roster. After Kim "glow" Min-soo retired earlier this week, they were down to four. Now, with the signing of Yu "BuZz" Byung-chul and Kim "MaKo" Myeong-kwan, they're up to not five, but six players.

VS won the Stage 1 Masters Korea, but failed to qualify for the second one. Now, they'll try to do their best in the next stage.
Gen.G Esports Sign a Female Valorant Roster
Since many other esports organizations already have a female Valorant roster (TSM, Cloud9 etc.), it was only a matter of time before Gen.G got one of their own too. The news came this Tuesday when the org officially revealed their players:

Andbox Swap b0i for jcStani
Andbox had disappointing results in the Stage 2 Challengers Finals, and it seems some changes are needed. Aaron "b0i" Thao left Andbox on May 14 after playing for the team for over half a year. His place was quickly taken by Noah "jcStani" Smith, who last played for Immortals, but left the org earlier this month.

TSM Female sign LeahPanda
The TSM Female Valorant squad was down to four for the past two months, but that's no longer the case. TSM Female signed Leah "LeahPanda" Nemchin-Cossman as their fifth player, thus, the roster is now complete.

TSM Sign Chet As Coach
In early April we saw Chet "Chet" Singh leave NRG's coaching position. It's not that surprising that a rival organization from the NA region decided to pick him up.

TSM bench reltuC
Stephen "reltuC" Cutler played CS:GO for almost a decade before switching to Valorant. His first team in Riot's title was mouseSpaz but after less than a month, he joined one of the biggest organizations in the NA region - TSM. ReltuC played with TSM for a year before getting benched last week on May 3. With the team lacking results in recent tournaments and Braxton "brax" Pierce joining as the sixth player earlier this move was somewhat expected.

Heretics bench RUBINO
Something similar happened between Team Heretics and Ruben "RUBINO" Villarroel Brødreskift. Heretics failed to pass through the Stage 2 EU Challengers 2 Qualifier, and we won't be seeing them in Iceland. Naturally, the team is making some roster changes before the next stage in the Valorant Champions Tour.

Vitality switch fragon for pm
Some teams like the French Vitality made changes not only in the active players but in the coaching position. Andrey "fragon" Katz coached Vitality for the past three months and their best placement was at Stage 2 EU Challengers 2 where they took 3rd-4th place. This left them barely out of reach for the Challengers Finals.

Fragon's replacement is no other than Arthur "pm" Guillermet who is better known as a caster throughout some of the biggest CS:GO events.

Vitality release feqew and M4CHINA
The changes in the coaching position weren't the only ones in Team Vitality's Valorant squad. The French team also released two players with Lukas "feqew" Petrauskas and Ouali "M4CHINA" Manset. The two were benched at the end of March, and it was only a matter of time as Vitality already signed Jesse "JESMUND" Terävä and Théo "LoWkii" Téchené to replace them.
