Riot Games has announced Valorant skin price changes that are more favorable in some countries, and less favorable in others. Let's take a look at how it might affect Valorant skin prices.
As of September 8, the value of Valorant Points is changing in Europe (EUR, GBP, and HUF currencies), Brazil, Latin America, Russia, and Turkey. This is mainly due to changes in exchange rates and taxes. So, if the value of Valorant Points is changing, the value of skins is changing as well, so you might want to do some shopping... or maybe it's better to hold off? Let's take a closer look at all the Valorant price changes.
Which Countries Will Have Valorant Price Changes?
European Countries (including the UK), Turkey, Uruguay, Mexico, Costa Rica, Chile, Brazil, Peru Colombia, and Russia will all receive Valorant Price Changes. Let's start with some more positive information. All countries that use the Euro currency (19 countries), the UK, and Hungary, will enjoya -5% average price decrease on all in-game items. Still, that doesn't mean that you should save all your resources and wait till September, especially since Riot has prepared a special compensation bonus, which we'll talk about later in this article.

Valorant Price Changes: Compensation Bonus
To compensate for the price hike, Riot has prepared a special promotion valid at Valorant until September 8. In short, all players (whether from the affected countries or not) will receive double Bonus Currency from all in-game purchases. For example, for purchasing 2000 Valorant Points, you would usually get 150 bonus VPs, but until September 8 you'll get 300 instead, which is why it might be the best time to do some skin shopping. This promotion lasts for the next 2 weeks, so you'll have a lot of time to take advantage of it!
