The qualifiers for Stage 3 Challengers of the Valorant Champions Tour are underway throughout most of the regions all over the world. Europe's open qualifiers concluded yesterday, and we have the winners.
Valorant's competitive scene is finally back. If you want to see some action, there's no better time than the currently ongoing open qualifiers. It's the perfect chance to see amateur teams competing against some of the biggest esports organizations in the world, and sometimes, even beat them. Valorant's open qualifiers for Stage 3 Challengers Europe are already behind us, and the eight teams that will advance forward are clear. There were some surprises.
The Winners of VCT Europe Stage 3 Challengers Open Qualifiers
Unlike in North America, where it's all decided by open qualifiers, Europe, CIS, and many other regions follow a more typical format. Eight teams got a direct invitation to the closed qualifiers of Stage 3 Challengers 1, and eight more were to be determined by the open qualifiers. And determined they were. Here are the eight teams that earned a spot in the next part of the VCT:
- G2 Esports
- Alliance
- BiG
- BK ROG Esports
- Wave Esports
- Rix.GG Thunder
- Team Finest
- TENSTAR
Almost all the usual suspects are a part of it. We're talking about the big organizations in Europe that were expected to make it, namely – G2 Esports, Alliance, and BiG.

The remaining five teams are mostly smaller orgs, or just a stack of players. We can only wish them the best of luck going forward. We can't help but notice that a certain European organization is missing. That's, of course, OG. They formed their Valorant squad back in February, and many OG fans expected them to finally make it in the qualifiers. They had an amazing start with 4 victories and not a single round lost during Day 1. Sadly, it all crumbled on the next day, as they lost a close series to Team Finest.
