Over the weekend, teams from all around the world competed in various qualifiers in an attempt to earn a spot for the Stage 3 Challengers 1 main event. Here are the winners from North America and Europe.
The Valorant Champions Tour is back with Stage 3. With most of the qualifiers for Stage 3 Challengers 1 already behind us, we can now look forward to the main event. Here are the teams that earned a spot for the first big tournament in Stage 3.
NA Stage 3 Challengers 1 Teams
North America had a single open qualifier that spanned over several days and concluded this weekend. We saw the best teams in the region go against each other, and fans were presented with only a few surprises. Here are the eight teams that made it to the top and earned a spot at the Stage 3 Challengers 1 main event:
- Sentinels
- XSET
- Team Envy
- 100 Thieves
- Version1
- Gen.G Esports
- Rise
- Kansas City Pioneers
Sentinels didn't disappoint their fans, and we're eager to see them defend their title. The two teams that stand out here are Rise and KCP. Rise are not a new org, but this will be the first time we see them in an event of this caliber. Kansas City Pioneers seem to be a brand-new team with some experienced players. Some big organizations in NA that failed to make the cut for the main event include Evil Geniuses, TSM, Cloud9, T1, and Andbox. Expect even more roster changes.
The Stage 3 Challengers 1 NA main event is scheduled for July 8-11 so expect more action in the upcoming weekend. The total prize pool stands at $50,000.

Europe Stage 3 Challengers 1 Teams
The format in Europe was a bit different from that in NA, as it included a closed qualifier after the open one. Here are the final eight teams that we'll be seeing more of soon:
- Fnatic
- Team Liquid
- G2 Esports
- Acend
- Guild Esports
- FunPlus Phoenix
- Team BDS
- Rix.GG Thunder
G2 Esports are finally back in action after making some serious roster changes. Fnatic and Team Liquid were the two teams that represented Europe at the Stage 2 Masters Reykjavik, and a month later, they're still in good shape. The surprise addition here is Rix.GG Thunder, a team that was founded on July 30 and seemingly came out of nowhere. Despite that, their results speak for themselves. They managed to eliminate Alliance and that's something.
The Stage 3 Challengers 1 Europe main event will kick off this Wednesday, July 7, and come to an end on Sunday, July 11. The total prize pool stands at €35,000.
You can catch a live stream on the official Valorant Twitch channel. The top four teams in each region will earn a spot at the Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs while the remaining four get a free invitation to Challengers 2.
