VCT Challengers NA Last Chance Qualifier will be the final opportunity for the NA teams to get a spot in the Challengers, which is basically a VCT 2023's tier-two league. And because of this whole franchising thing, this could be the most important tournament of the year for some players, as there will be 256 total teams competing for the spot. And this means that some of the losing teams could face a pretty long off-season, which is a bit harsh, but that's how things go nowadays.

Last week, we get to know four teams that will compete in the NA Challengers league, and these include a Disguised Toast's new roster. In this Qualifier, people are definitely looking forward to watching Untamable Beast, which is a roster with players like Marved, zombs, and Sinatraa. But as you will learn from this article, there are many reasons to think that there is no real favorite in this tournament, and that's mostly because of the format.

VCT Challengers NA Last Chance Qualifier: Format

VCT Challengers NA Last Chance Qualifier will be a two-stage tournament played in a BO3 format.

The first stage will be a single elimination bracket with a cut on the top 32.

And as you would probably expect, the second stage will be the top 32 teams from the first stage competing in a double elimination bracket.

Out of all 256 participants, only 2 teams will qualify for the Challengers league – one through the upper bracket, and the other through the lower bracket, so it will be a hell of a journey for anyone that wants to make it. We already feel bad about the top 4 finishers, i.e., two teams that played this whole tournament for so long and didn't make it in the end. Yeah, looking at this format, all participants will not only need some enormous skills, but also lots of luck. But that's life.
