Valorant First Strike UMG Tournament
The UMG Tournament served as the second official qualifier for the NA First Strike Regional Finals. The first one was the NSG Tournament, where four teams came out on top and earned a spot in the event in early December. Now four more will join them.
Eight teams made it to the playoffs of the UMG Tournament:
- TSM
- Immortals
- Luminosity Gaming
- Moon Raccoons
- Gen.G Esports
- FaZe Clan
- T1
- Cloud9 Blue
TSM were among the top favorites to take first place in this event and they didn’t disappoint their fans. The NA organization won every series in the group stage and continued to dominate in the playoffs. Defeating Moon Raccoon and Immortals led them to the grand finals where they faced FaZe Clan.
The grand finals ended with a score of 3:1 in favor of TSM. It seems TSM are back in shape after their shaky performance in the NSG Tournament. The top four of the UMG qualifier are: TSM, FaZe, T1 and Immortals. These teams will join the other four from the NSG qualifier to form the full list of eight for the upcoming NA Regional Finals:
- TSM
- Team Envy
- 100 Thieves
- Sentinels
- Renegades
- FaZe Clan
- T1
- Immortals
It’s going to be a heated event and, while TSM and Envy might be the favorites, anything can happen.
