World of Warcraft Shadowlands Release Delayed
WoW-Fans: You have to be strong now. As Blizzard Entertainment just announced on Twitter, the upcoming expansion World of Warcraft Shadowlands will not release on October 27, as planned.
“I wanted to let you know that we’re delaying the release of Shadowlands to later this year and we’re still in the process of determining the right new date to launch, we felt it was important to let you know about this change in plans as soon as we could.”
It was a tough decision for the team, as the Tweet continues, but it should be the right decision for the game and its fans. In the past few months, the devs worked hard on a better gameplay experience and huge parts of the game are already finished:
“However, as everything started coming together and we’ve been listening to and building upon your feedback, it’s become clear we need a little more time for additional polish, and to balance and iterate on some interlocking pieces-particularly those related to the endgame.”

Well… Take your time, Blizzard. Rather release a finished and polished game than an unfinished and buggy add-on. We are willing to wait just a little longer for the typical quality, Blizzard is normally offering.
