Hideo Kojima’s PlayStation 4 exclusive Death Stranding is no longer a PS4 exclusive. The “action” game is now being released on PC and there’s already a way to skip paying for it. If you’re prepared to throw some cash in another direction that is.
Get Death Stranding for Free with Nvidia
Kojima and his team have partnered with Nvidia for a promo coinciding with the release of the massive project Death Stranding on PC. The game has been splashed on the front of the Steam store since yesterday and is available for purchase at the usual AAA price of $60.
However, you can bypass that evaluation by paying Nvidia instead! A purchase of a GeForce RTX series graphics card, gaming desktop, or gaming laptop will get you the PC version of Death Stranding for free.
Of course, it’s hardly worth it if you don’t actually need any of the three, but if you were hovering around the idea of upgrading and would like to give Death Stranding a try, why not?
Hideo Kojima’s first post-Konami baby Death Stranding was originally released on November 8, 2019 on the PS4 to mixed reviews. While praising the world building and visuals, many found issues with the gameplay, which can be extremely tedious and frankly – boring.
If you are one of those PC gamers curious to find out if the good outweighs the bad, now seems like a good time to do so while also potentially upgrading your gear with Nvidia GeForce RTX. Or just buy the thing on Steam and save yourself the trouble.
