The Best Warzone Oden Loadout | The High-Skill AR

The Oden has never been a particularly popular weapon, but especially in Rebirth Solos, players with good Aim get a fantastic TTK out of this.

Not bad at all... | © Activision

Most players in Warzone prefer weapons with a large magazine, low recoil, and reasonably high rate of fire. If you count yourself among them, you won't be happy with this guide. The Oden has a slow rate of fire and recoils like a bazooka. But it can still be really strong.

The Oden has very good range and very heavy damage per shot. And that is exactly the crux of the matter. If you have good aim and can control the recoil, you can achieve an incredible short TTK with the Oden. However, you also have to hit your shots, which makes the Oden a high-skill weapon that can really to use to shred with in Rebirth Solos or Duos.

The Best Oden Setup

MuzzleColossus Suppressor
BarrelOden Factory 730mm
LaserTac Laser
UnderbarrelCommando Foregrip
Rear GripStippled Grip Tape

The Colossus Suppressor hides you from enemies, increases effective range and reduces recoil. With the Oden Factory 730mm we increase range and get more bullet velocity and recoil control without sacrificing too much mobility. The Commando Foregrip increases control, and the Tac Laser and Rear Grip let you ADS faster and generally increase mobility.

Since the Oden is strong, but slow and not very maneuverable, we recommend combining it with a fast SMG. Of course, you can use the MAC-10 or even the old MP5, but the new H4 Blixen is really strong at the moment. With our H4 Blixen setup and the Oden you will be very well-prepared for Rebirth Island

The Best Equipment for the Oden

LethalThrowing Knife
TacticalStuns

Throwing knives let you take out downed enemies as quickly as possible without wasting ammo, and stun grenades are a good choice in almost any situation. You can use them to push enemies, cover your retreat, or simply check the hit marker to see if there are any enemies around the next corner.

The Best Perks for the Oden

Perk 1Cold-Blooded
Perk 2Overkill
Perk 3Combat Scout

The standard combo we all already know inside and out. Overkill we need to be able to carry both weapons, Combat Scout marks enemies for us and our squad, and Cold-Blooded counters this perk, so we don't get marked ourselves.

Yes, the Oden is a very specialized weapon and not everyone will be able to handle it, but if you get bored with the STG44 and don't have a problem with recoil, give it a try.
