The Grau 5.56 is once again back in the Warzone meta, so before you level one of these newfangled weapons, why not throw the right attachments on an old classic? Here's the best attachment setup for the Grau in Warzone.
If you were to do a poll of all-time favorite weapons in the history of Warzone, the Grau would have a very good chance of winning. It's hard to put it into words exactly, but something about the Grau just feels so incredibly nice to use. Maybe it's the fantastic iron-sights, or perhaps it's the incredible recoil control. Either way, it's a fantastic weapon and it's still competitive in Warzone Pacific. Here's the best attachment setup and loadout for the Grau.
The Best Grau Setup
Muzzle | Monolithic Suppressor |
Barrel | Tempus 26.4" Archangel |
Optic | VLK 3.0x Optic |
Underbarrel | Commando Foregrip |
Magazine | 60 Round Mags |
The Grau has some awesome iron sights, so it wouldn't be necessary to use the VLK, but if you are looking for a good Long-Range-AR you can't go wrong with that optic. If you insist on not using an optic, go for the Tac Laser for extra mobility. The other attachments are Modern Warfare standard for increased range, recoil control and magazine size.
The Best Secondary, Equipment & Perks For A Grau 5.56 Loadout
The Best Secondary Weapon For The Grau 5.56
The Grau also works great on its own as a long-range assault rifle that still does a good job even at shorter ranges. So if you want to forgo the Overkill Perk, you can certainly do so in this loadout. However, since most players prefer the tried and true assault rifle/SMG combo, we'll pack the Armaguerra 43 here. With its high rate of fire and fast TTK, it's the perfect support weapon for absolute close combat. Here is our best Armaguerra 43 loadout.
The Best Equipment For The Grau 5.56
Lethal | Semtex |
Tactical | Flash |
There's not much to say here. Semtex are easy to use and good against infantry and vehicles, while Flashbangs can be used to check for enemies or give yourself an advantage on the push. What's not to love?
The Best Perks For The Grau 5.56
Perk 1 | E.O.D. |
Perk 2 | Overkill |
Perk 3 | Combat Scout |
Cold-blooded is also a great choice for the first perk slot, but E.O.D. is also a great passive counter to explosives. Either would work well for this loadout. Then in the second perk slot the choice is obvious: we need Overkill to take two primary weapons. And in the third slot we're sticking with Combat Scout because it's great if you're sniping with your squad to ping up the enemies as they rotate and try to avoid your shots.
If the Grau just isn't quite cutting it for you, or you just want something with a little more range, then you should try the Whitley LMG.
