3. M82

The M82 is a pretty damn good sniper rifle in Black Ops Cold War. Look forward to a guaranteed 1-shot kill if you manage to score a sneaky headshot, but be aware of a couple of setbacks that come with wielding this kind of power.

This sniper is...heavy, like really heavy! Carrying it brings your movement speed right down and what's more, combined with low ammo capacity AND pretty average accuracy for a sniper rifle, it is certainly a mixed bag! Still, though, if you want to blow the face off your opponent with a perfectly timed headshot, this sniper's for you!

Cold War LW3 Tundra

2. LW3

The bizarre thing about the LW3, and the reason that it is on this list, is that it is the only sniper that gives an instakill as a shoulder shot! That is really weird, right? It isn't just us?

Well, if you have some weird hatred of shoulders (we don't blame you, they do look pretty strange), then pick up the LW3! Just be aware, the LW3 Tundra has a few drawbacks in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Don't expect fast handling or ADS speeds – it's slow, inaccurate, and the ammo count is s**t! Your funeral.

Cold War Pelington 703 Sniper

1. Pelington 703

We're going to be totally honest with you, here. The Pelington 703 is BY FAR the best sniper in Cold War (at least for the moment)! It has a quick snipe, it's perfect for no-scoping, and it's the best way to blast your way through Multiplayer.

It also has fast ADS speeds, a much faster rate of fire compared to the LW3 Tundra, and quite simply: it will help you absolutely OWN the battlefield. If you want to play a sniper in Cold War, or in Warzone when they merge on December 10, then the Pelington 703 should be your go-to if you can get your hands on it. This bad boy's bloody overpowered!
