Raven decided to buff the pellet damage to the shotguns with the Season 4: Reloaded patch, and it seems like they made them a bit too op...
Who remembers this gun from way back in Verdansk? After the duff-duff – R9-0 dragon's breath shotgun – was nerfed, this thing became popular, and was known as the duff. This thing wasn't as deadly as the R9-0, but it still had an insane TTK up close, and basically two shot everyone within 10 meters.
Well, it seems the duff is back because Activision decided to up the pellet damage of shotguns by a whopping 26%. Now this thing is terrorizing people all over again. Oh Raven, what have you done?
Best VLK Rogue Attachment Setup
Component | Attachment |
Muzzle | Forge Tac Marauder |
Barrel | 16" Warlord |
Laser | 5MW Laser |
Stock | No Stock |
Magazine | 8-R Dragon's Breath |
The Dragon's Breath is essential for this gun, especially if you combine it with Combat Scout. That is an insanely annoying combo, trust me. Apart from that, we want to minimize our hip fire spread, so we use the 5MW laser, and to boost our range, we took the longest barrel and the Forge Tac Marauder. The No Stock attachment helps our mobility, so we'll be whizzing around the map, setting people on fire, and while you're having the time of your life, your enemies controllers will start to bruise like a peach.
Best Secondary Gun, Equipment And Perks For The VLK
Best Secondary Gun
Being a shotgun and all, we obviously need something for our ranged engagements. And what have we here? That's right. The return of the Amax. This was also one of the guns that got a buff in the Season 4: Reloaded patch, and it is finally viable again. This class is going to be excellent on Rebirth Island or Fortune's Keep where you can keep your engagements super close, but if you need to stretch it out, you can just whip this thing out, and beam any opponent away, just like in the golden ages of Warzone.
Best Equipment For The VLK
Lethal | Throwing Knife |
Tactical | Stim |
Do we really need to explain this? Summed up: Throwing Knife to finish downs because we only have 8 rounds, and Stims for flexibility, either to push or run away.
Best Perks For The Uzi
Perk 1 | Double Time |
Perk 2 | Overkill |
Perk 3 | Combat Scout |
Overkill is pretty self-explanatory because we are using two primaries. Since Serpentine was nerfed, we opted for Double Time, so we can keep our fights as close as possible. And as previously mentioned, we want to use Combat Scout because it's really busted with fire rounds, since the enemies will be pinged for a super long time.
And that's it. Abuse it while you can, and while you're at it, you can reminisce about the good old Amax days. God, I'm happy, that that gun is back.
This gun deserves an honorable mention on this list:
