Info about Modern Warfare 2 has been very scarce lately, and it doesn't look like we will be getting anything anytime soon. I guess the mystique is supposed to add to the hype.
It's been weeks since we have gotten any official info regarding Modern Warfare 2, and it looks like it's going to stay like that for the next several weeks. A lot of us were expecting some kind of reveal during the CDL Championship, which is happening at the beginning of August, but it looks like those rumors were wrong.
Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Reveal Coming In September
According to known Call of Duty leaker Tom Henderson, we won't be getting the multiplayer reveal in August, but in September. This is a lot later than we're used to, especially if you consider that the Beta is set for September. We will probably get the reveal a week or so before the beta. The first phase of the beta is going to go live on the 15th of September 2022, so a reveal on the 1st or 8th of September seems to be the most likely right now.

Tom Henderson states that this date has been set for months, so even if it might seem late, and a lot of people thought this was delayed, it in fact isn't. This is extraordinarily late for Call of Duty, especially if you consider that MW2 will release a month later. The beta is basically going to be a finished version of the game, because I don't expect them to make that many changes in a month.
That's all for now. What do you think of this late reveal date? Does this increase the hype or concern for the game? I guess we will have to just wait and see.
Why don't you check out all of the new features that are coming with Modern Warfare 2?
