Modern Warfare 2 got off to a really good start, and Warzone 2.0 and DMZ are also very popular at the moment. With the start of Season 1 on November 16, we already received the first big content drop, including new weapons and maps. Now the mid-season update, Season 1: Reloaded, is about to go live on December 14, and although we don't know too much about it yet, we already have first leaks about Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 Season 2.

Note: MW2 Season 2 currently has no confirmed release date, but will not go live until February 2023, so the following are very early leaks that cannot be confirmed by us.

MW2 Season 2 Content Leak Reveals Operator & New Map

Thanks to the well-known leaker RalphsValve on Twitter, we already have two first images of Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 for you, which announce the return of a well-known operator and the return of an equally well-known multiplayer map:

This picture shows the operator Ronin, who we already know from Modern Warfare 2019. If we can trust the leak, Ronin would be the new figurehead for MW2 Season 2 and thus probably also unlockable via the Battle Pass. The fact that Ronin will be making a return in MW2 is honestly not a big surprise, since many characters known from MW2019 are already back in MW2.

But let's take a look at the new multiplayer map:

In addition to Ronin and two other female operators we don't know yet, we can see the popular World at War multiplayer map Castle in the background. This map has been a favorite of the community for a long time, and was also featured in last year's CoD: Vanguard.

Of course, we can't confirm the leaks yet, and we don't know where the leaked images came from, so don't get too excited. However, a return of Ronin and Castle is definitely a possibility, and we wouldn't be surprised if the leak turned out to be true. Of course, we will keep you up to date if there are any news.
