What is the best Sniper Rifle in Warzone 2.0? What rifle should you take for the job? Here are the best snipers in Warzone 2.0.
Snipers can once again down with a headshot! Well, some of them can, and only if they use Explosive Ammo, but that's still better than nothing. Right, let's get to the ranking!
Note: This is a ranking of snipers for Warzone 2.0, if you're looking for the best sniper in Modern Warfare 2 you want this list. Interestingly, it's almost the exact reverse ranking.
The Best Sniper In Warzone 2.0
6. LA-B 330
The LA-B 330 is trash. Sure, the ADS is impressive, but when it does such low damage at range it's effectively pointless. However, follow-up shots are marginally quicker and easier to land than most with most rifles, so the LA-B is just slightly better than useless in our opinion.
If you still want to give it a try, here is our best LA-B 330 Loadout.
5. Signal 50
The Signal 50 sadly cannot one-shot down, so it simply can't be rated on the same level as the snipers that do have this capability. However, it does have better damage than the other snipers lower on this list, and it has a great rate-of-fire.
Here you can check out our best Signal 50 Loadout.
4. SP-X 80
The SP-X 80 can finally one-shot headshot with incendiary ammo! Now, it is only within 50 meters, but this definitely brings it up to the position of 4th best sniper. Not one we recommend for BR or Ranked but for Resurgence it's a dream.
If you still want to give it a try, here is our best SP-X 80 Loadout.
3. Victus XMR (AWM / L115A1)
The Victus was the number one for quite some time but then along came the FJX and it was just a lot quicker and smoother. Now, the Victus can still one-shot down with explosive ammo, so it still deserves some respect, but it's no longer top dog.
If you still want to try the best Victus XMR loadout go for it.
2. FJX Imperium (Intervention)
Much like the OG MW2's Intervention, the FJX Imperium just feels right. And, in Warzone at least, it can one-shot down! The FJX Imperium is therefore the second best sniper for Warzone, although a bit too heavy and slow for multiplayer.
Here's a full loadout guide for the FJX Imperium.
1. MCPR-300
Now we're cooking. The MCPR can one shot down. And of all the heavy snipers that can do this, it has the best ADS times. Therefore, and quite predictably, the MCPR-300 is number one.
The MCPR is meta because it can one-shot headshot at long-range while still being somewhat fast.

Where To Snipe In Warzone 2.0?
The best rooftop camp spots we've found in Warzone 2 so far are above Strongholds. There are generic Stronghold buildings that make up the majority of Strongholds on the map (they're the three-story ones), and if you get right on to the rooftop, you only need to defend one ladder. Plus, the surrounding wall of the rooftop is about chest-height, which is more than enough cover for when people start shooting back.
How Should You Snipe In Warzone 2.0?
In general, you want to be as quick and unpredictable as possible: aim quickly, land hits, and then switch to a new position. Here are some tips:
- Never peek the same spot twice, rotate after every shot
- Never hardscope for very long, the optic glint will give away your position
- Don't over adjust on moving targets or targets within 100 m, velocity should guarantee you hit exactly where you aim
- Allow for bullet drop at greater distances, but never too much. As a rule of thumb, imagine you're shooting a hat off their head when they're between 100-200 m away.
- Save your Mortar Strikes and Precision Airstrikes for eliminating downed enemies
