The WSP Stinger is a great sidearm in MW3, it's basically just a mini UZI, and with the right attachments it absolutely shreds in close combat.
Sidearms in Modern Warfare 3 are extremely strong, and like the Renetti, the WSP Stinger is no exception. This mini UZI is a fully automatic SMG that counts as a sidearm and at least at very short distances can absolutely compete with the best SMGs in MW3.
So if you are looking for a strong sidearm to go with your primary weapon, the WSP Stinger is a good choice. Here you can find the best attachments and loadout for the WSP Stinger and if you are looking for another gun, check out our tier-ranking of every gun in MW3.
Note: We update our loadouts whenever a new MW3 patch affects the weapon or the relevant attachments.
MW3 WSP Stinger Loadout: The Best Attachments
Slot | Attachment | Stats (Pros) | Stats (Cons) | How To Unlock |
Rear Grip | WSB TAC-20 Grip | ↑ Pistol Fast Draw↑↑ Sprint To Fire Speed↑ Tac Stance Spread | ↓ Gun Kick Control ↓ Recoil Control | WSP Stinger Level 4 |
Magazine | 32 Round Mag | ↑↑↑ Magazine Ammo Capacity | ↓↓ Reload Quickness
↓ Aim Down Sight Speed ↓ Sprint to Fire Speed↓ Aim Walking Speed | WSP Stinger Level 15 |
Ammunition | 9mm High Grain | ↑↑ Bullet Velocity↑ Damage Range | ↓↓ Recoil Control | AMR9 Level 29 |
You might wonder why we only chose three attachments for our WSP Stinger setup... Well, With the above attachments we manage to improve the range, mobility and ammo capacity without making it too slow.
Sadly, most other attachments have heavy disadvantages for mobility and thus are not really viable for a sidearm that is supposed to be very nimble and a quick fallback option for when your Primary runs out of ammo.
MW3 WSP Stinger Loadout: The Best Equipment, Field Upgrade & Perks
Even though the WSP Stinger is a full auto mini UZI, it still is a sidearm, so you obviously need a great primary weapon to go with it. For a good all-rounder loadout, we can recommend the MCW AR or MTZ-556, but since the Stinger is pretty strong in close combat situations you can basically choose whatever you like most for mid to far distances.
Our recommendation for how you should finish this loadout:
Slot | Option |
Tactical | Flash Grenade |
Lethal | Breacher Drone |
Field Upgrade | Trophy System |
Vest | Infantry Vest |
Gloves | Quick Grip Gloves |
Boots | Stalker Boots |
Gear | EOD Padding |
For equipment and gear we go with a pretty standard loadout, since it mostly depends on your primary weapon anyway. We go for faster weapon switching, better strafe speed and reduced damage from explosives. For grenades, you can choose whatever you like best, but we just love the Breacher Drone.
