Warzone Ranked Mode: The Skill Rating System
The way that you will rank up and down in Warzone Ranked is by gaining or losing SR (skill rating). You need to pay an entry fee in SR to join every match you play. The entry cost will be very cheap in Bronze, but it will get more expensive as you level up, reaching a maximum entry cost of 210 SR to join a match at the very highest ranks. This is the only way that you lose SR. You gain SR by making kills and a good placement in your matches.
Below, we have provided the exact numbers in SR that you will either pay as an entry fee, or gain via placement and kills.
SR Entry Fees Per Rank
This is how much SR you will need to pay to enter a match, depending on your level:
- Bronze I–III: No Entry Fee
- Silver I: –10 SR
- Silver II: –14 SR
- Silver III: –18 SR
- Gold I: –23 SR
- Gold II: –28 SR
- Gold III: –33 SR
- Platinum I: –39 SR
- Platinum II: –45 SR
- Platinum III: –51 SR
- Diamond I: –58 SR
- Diamond II: –65 SR
- Diamond III: –72 SR
- Crimson I: –80 SR
- Crimson II: –90 SR
- Crimson III: –100 SR
- Iridescent and Top 250: –110 SR + 10 SR every 500 SR above 10,000 up to a max Deployment Fee of –210 SR
The higher ranks look absolutely punishing.
Obviously, there will also be quite a few rewards available through Ranked Play. In this article, we explain exactly what Warzone Ranked rewards are available and how to unlock them:
SR For Kills & Placement
Let's start by going into how much SR you earn for kills and assists. You get at least 5 SR if you make a kill or assist, but if it's later in the game and there are fewer squads left alive, you will get more SR for each kill or assist. You can also gain SR if your squadmates make a kill and you are not involved at all. In this case you get 2 SR at the beginning of the match, and slightly more as the game goes on.
You can see the exact SR gains below:
Squads Remaining | 50-21 | 20-4 | 3-1 |
Kills & Assists | 5 | 7 | 15 |
Kills By Squad | 2 | 3 | 7 |
As well as kills and assists, you also just get a base lump sum of SR awarded based on how well you place in the game. So even if you rat it out the whole game and the squad doesn't get a singe kill, you will still earn this much based on placement:
Placement | Top 40 | Top 30 | Top 20 | Top 10 | Top 5 | 3rd | 2nd | 1st |
Total SR | 10 | 20 | 30 | 40 | 50 | 60 | 80 | 100 |
They recently adjusted these numbers!

Here is the ruleset for the ranked mode:
